Music is a journey, not just an activity.
To make real progress, regular lessons and consistent practice are essential.
Our policies are designed to create a stable and supportive learning environment for all.
That’s why our policies may differ from other extracurricular activities.

Payment Terms and Policies
1. Payment Schedule

All payments must be made two months in advance, based on the Oslo International School (OIS) calendar.

Lesson fees are calculated per half-hour session. Please refer to the Tuition Fees page for detailed information on fees by level and session type.
2. Non-Refundable Policy​
-
Lessons cannot be rescheduled or refunded if cancelled by the student for reasons including but not limited to planned holidays, illnesses, or other personal circumstances.
3. Payment Instructions

All payments must be made to account number 0539.53.61041.

Please include the correct KID number with every payment to ensure proper identification.

Payments are due for two months in advance, based on the Oslo International School calendar.
4. Make-Up Lessons
-
Lessons missed due to teacher unavailability will be rescheduled.

In cases where rescheduling is not possible, a refund or credit for the missed lesson will be offered.

In the event of OIS building closures (e.g., due to COVID-19), lessons will transition to an alternative venue or online format as directed by Oslo International Music School.
5. Termination of Contract

Termination of the contract requires one month’s written notice.

Students will be charged for an additional two months if no written notice is provided.
6. Late Payments
-
If payment is not received within two weeks after notice, lessons may be suspended, or the contract may be cancelled.

Unpaid balances may be sent to Inkasso for collection, which may incur additional fees for the student.
7. Drop-Off and Pick-Up Policy

Students must be dropped off and picked up on time at the music lesson room.

Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child’s safety during both drop-off and pick-up.

Parents may assign a third party to handle this task, but ultimate responsibility remains with the parents.
8. Policy Updates

Musica Lirica – Music School reserves the right to update these terms and conditions as necessary. Parents will be notified of any significant changes.
9. General Terms

By enrolling, parents or guardians agree to abide by these terms and conditions to ensure a consistent and fair educational environment for all students.

Both parties agree to respect this agreement. In case of differing interpretations or matters not specified herein, both parties shall engage in good-faith discussions to reach a resolution.
